Ghana Commercial Bank Limited (GCB) has opened a new ultra-modern branch on the Spintex Road in Accra.
The opening of the Spintex Road branch brings to one hundred and fifty (150), the number of GCB branches throughout the country and 11 agencies, all of which are networked.
The Deputy Managing Director of GCB in charge of operations, Mr Samuel Sarpong, who cut the tape to open the branch, urged staff of the Bank not to discriminate against customers in the delivery of services.
With the opening of the Spintex branch that links services to the Accra-Tema corridor; Baatsona, Teshie-Nungua and surrounding communities, GCB consolidates its position as the lead and largest Bank in Ghana providing retail and consumer banking for customers and non customers.
Located near the Kotobabi Junction on the Spintex Road and adjacent to the ChickenRepublic, the Spintex Branch offers all GCB’s services including:
GCB Express Money Transfer, KudiNkosuo, Personal Loans, Staff Loans, Packages for all Small and Medium Enterprises, GCB Fast International Money Transfer, GCB MoneyGram Remittances, Link2Home for Non-Resident Ghanaians, Commernet Plus (Internet Banking), Royal Banking and Trade Services, GCB Mastercard, and ReadyCash (ATM) services.
MrSarpong said customers contribute to the survival of the Bank and advised staff especially front line staff to accord each and every one of them with respect.
He described the Spintex Road branch as a model one in GCB’s retail banking business and transformation process.
The Deputy Managing Director commended the staff of the Bank for working assiduously to sustain it over the years.
